A great finale to a great concert in London last night.

This was last night and I was thankful that I wasn’t caught up in the traffic and collisions on the M25.

Without prompting from a sheepdog they have gathered together in the middle of a field.

A pointless overtake, unless this driver was attempting to make a point. S/he did not gain any significant time, and put me in danger. One wonders what was going through the driver’s mind. At the end of the day I was able to slow down but this is not the thing one is looking for on a cold dark night and a with wet road.

Near Westerham, looking back in the direction of Oxted. This was taken after sunset but before moonset, and the moon is visible in the sky.

Due to the wet road and mist, I had to take it easy.

I went roaming in the gloaming this afternoon. Stopping at this lake, I was reminded of the WB Yeats poem:
The trees are in their autumn beauty,
The woodland paths are dry,
Under the October twilight the water
Mirrors a still sky;
The poem is about 59 swans. I didn’t see any swans, but just before I took this photo a large fish leapt out of the water and splashed back into the lake. You can see the ripples forming in the bottom left of the photograph.

Winter retains some of autumn’s charms, in the daylight. I haven’t had much time to edit the annoying “bits” into a video, so here are some of my best bits (from this afternoon).
