We are a private site, mainly hosting some family blogs.
Yes, there is an explanation for the name bluemeanie, and if you hang around and talk to us, one of us might explain. We might not each give exactly the same explanation, but that’s life.
We welcome you to post comments on the blog entries at this site. However to do so, we require that you register, and give us a valid email address. Partly this is because we like to know who we are talking to. We don’t need to know much, to start with. At a minimum you need to give us name/s to call you by, and an email address. We also require this information as a measure to prevent advertisers posting “comment spam” on the blogs.
Remember: The email address you give us must be valid, in order for your membership to be activated.
We will keep all the information you give us to ourselves. We will not send you spam. We will not post your email address to any webpage. When you register, there is an option to subscribe to our mailing list. At the moment we do not have a mailing list, but we will not contact you or put you on a mailing list, unless you activate this option. When you register, there is another option where you can allow other members to send you emails via a form on this website. This will not reveal your email address to the person sending you the email. (Of course, if you reply you may expose your email address).
If you are under the age of 16, please get your parents’ permission before signing up.
