A field of Ragwort in Winter


You can see what this field looked like three months ago, here.  It’s quite a different sight, on this bleak Winter’s day. My discussion about the pros and cons of ragwort is here. This is apparently the time when horses are more likely to consume the plant, as it is in its dried form. That said, it was raining when I took this photograph, and had been for some time, so everything and everyone in the field was very wet.
