A new type of graffiti tag?

image

This appeared in Oxted recently.  I suppose it can be seen as a positive development: the sticker is small and not as unsightly as a traditional graffiti tag, it also seems to be a more temporary feature that could be removed by weather and time, whereas paint is more costly and difficult to remove.

Anyway, these stickers may be new to my neighbourhood but I see that they have been used as far back as 2008 according to this graffiti site.

More photos of these stickers, can be found here (Bomit).
