Be a sheep


The notices in the charity shop seem to be saying “other people volunteer to work here, why don’t you?”. They brought to mind the signs on the motorway recently which read “take your litter home, other people do”.

It is a departure from the usual “be different,  distinctive” message. It is also contradicted by the plethora of litter on the sides of our motorways and the few volunteers we see in the charity shops. Perhaps they’re trying something different, distinctive. I wonder whether it works.
