Grey day in Basel
As I enjoy a lovely sunny Autumn day in England today I can look back at the bleak and grey photos from last week in Basel and smile.

Hi, good to hear from you!
I don’t think I’ll be going back to Basel soon, but if I do I will contact you to see if you’re there.
I’m off to Rotterdam today, then on to Paris on Tuesday so I’ll be acquainting myself with the Anglo-Dutch-French railway systems. But there won’t be any training involved: just a meeting and a workshop.

Hi there, I know this corner, didn’t stay far from there in a flat at a flat rate. For all IT people it’s geek Basel, for historians Greek Basel, for all trashmen reek Basel and for bankers it’s Bale, as in bailout, and in some fields after harvest there’s even a multitude of them.
Will return there shortly, they’re trying to implement SAP for FDA compliance and aren’t we all lucky SAP’s new boss is now Apotheker which is German for pharmacist ... haw haw ...
We’ll also adhere to GMP which stands for “Give me paper”, GLP which then may stand for loo paper and I have yet to figure out what GCP stands for. At least stand for nothing, as the man in the pub said when he had no money “I can’t stand drink”. Another outstanding joke, like a sore thumb ...
