Here’s a different perspective of the statue I posted yesterday which overlooks the platforms in the mainline hall at Paris Gare du Nord.

This view from behind reinforces, for me, the Easter/Spring theme of the sculpture.

However at first glance one could be mistaken for thinking it represented “Mother in the grip of a giant insect”.
