High Petergate I

York High Petergate

Here is a photo of an interesting corner shop, on High Petergate in York.

This past weekend I drove (with Pinkie) to Haguenau. We left on Friday afternoon, and arrived on Saturday afternoon. However we stopped off in Reims (in Champagne) for a short sleep on Friday night and in Metz (in Lorraine) for Saturday morning shopping.  Sunday was a very busy day packing, and then on Sunday evening we drove back to the UK. I dropped her off at home, and then made my way up to Ashby so I could start work early on Monday morning.  Not counting stoppages, and tunnel crossing, it was only an 8 hour drive.
