Oh look, I made a kugelhopf today - the first in a few years and my first gluten-free kugelhopf. It is based closely on the old recipe as I am not very knowledgeable on how to adapt recipes (other than to substitute gluten-free ingredients for gluten-containing ingredients). The cake is still hot “out of the oven”, but in terms of presentation I should sieve a dusting of icing sugar over it when it has cooled. I doubt I will do this as kugelhopf is already a fairly sweet cake, to my taste.

I am interested to experience the result later. Similarly, I am interested to see what Glasshouse Reflections comes up with this evening. Some preparatory baking commenced as I went to bed last night, and I’ve been informed that tonights blog post is already drafted.
