Kogelberg Restaurant

Last night we went back to the Kogelberg restaurant in Maximiliansau. Ash and I went for “extra sharf”, Ant ordered “normal” and the others had something in between. As Miriam pointed out their spice gradings are not logical: normal, mittel-sharf, sharf and extra-sharf, when you would expect something along the lines of: plain, mild, medium, hot. After the meal we went to the Italian place next door for coffees and the like.  One Euro fifty for a good quality cappacino cannot really be matched anywhere else around here. 

It turns out that one of the waitresses in Kogelberg is South African, and comes from Tableview outside Cape Town. Her Afrikaans is almost as Posted by bigblue on 30/04/2004 at 12:28 AM
