prague by night

Prague at night

This is the view from my hotel window, looking down one evening into the square at the top of the IP Pavlova tube station.  I found the light and the traffic interesting. The trams also run along here, and you can make out the tram lines (on the left of the road). I once saw five trams in a row queueing up at the stop (beyond the bus).

I have always wondered what it would be like to be in a city where I couldn’t read any of the signs and notices. However to say that Prague was such an experience would be an exaggeration. While most of the signs were not comprehensible to me, I could understand when I saw things like koncert sal or tickety and optick.  (I am not sure I got those spelling right, and I am certainly not attempting to put the various types of accents on top of the letters!

I’m happy for you. You’ve enjoyed Prague. Seems to be a nice city. I think I’ll go there soon wink
