Smisby dawn - 8:02 AM

This was the view from the skylight window in my bedroom this morning. As you can see there was a thick frost over the fields. Fortunately my car is sheltered in the courtyard (of the farm), and I didn’t have to scrape.

We had another fire alarm at work today but I didn’t get any more photos of the firemen and their engines because it was a drill. It was cold outside, so fortunately we could go in as soon as the head-counting and roll-call had been completed.  Everyone signs a register in and out of work so that in case of fire, once we have evaculated the building, the fire officers can quickly establish whether we have left somebody behind.
