Surrey & Sussex Dirty Air

image

This is my typical view from the Woldingham viewpoint of Oxted and the Weald of Kent. Besides for the morning mists, the temperature inversion has trapped a dirty layer of polluted air over East Sussex. From my experience someone in East Sussex, looking back at the North Downs, will see the same smog up here.

And yet we carry on as usual, addicted to our polluted lifestyle. Outraged at our corrupt leaders for sticking their fingers in the till. Blaming regional powers based in Brussels. Why don’t we do something?
