The Walnut Tree (in old France)

This is a painting of a French woman harvesting walnuts from a walnut tree. The artist is John Thorne, and I have referred to it here.

Last night I had supper in Belper with Lynette, Alan, Ruth and Tamsin. It was good to see them again, especially Tamsin who I haven’t seen since 2003 (I think).  The only downside was that I was exhausted from all this driving I have done lately and was a bit dopey. Tamsin showed me some stunning photos of Dubai and surrounds. Unfortunately I left my BodyClock with Bluemeanie and overslept this morning without its “dawn simulation”.
