Petrol: 118 pence.
Diesel: 130 pence.
Sugar water: 150 pence.

Yes, petrol is still (relatively) cheap at the price.

I’m sure the petrol price could increase still. I’ve read people arguing that this is a “positive” thing: as petrol gets more expensive we will adapt and consume less/use public transport, etc.  (see for e.g. Monbiot). However I wonder because it also means that it becomes more attractive to mine for less accessible deposits of oil. So that will end up in the atmosphere too.
